The Wellness Chain’s New Home based at Lake House in Ashford, Kent

We have got some very exciting news to share: We have been working quietly in the background for a while and now we are pleased to announce The Wellness Chain has moved, and we’re now delighted to be based at the beautiful Lake House Kent Wellbeing CIC, in Ashford, Kent: https://lakehousekent.co.uk.

This move feels like a natural next step — not just a change of address, but a genuinely well-aligned shift that supports everything we stand for. The Wellness Chain exists to connect women, work, and wellness, and Lakehouse Wellbeing CIC is a space that champions community, purpose, and positive impact.

From the moment we stepped through the door, it felt like the kind of environment where meaningful work can happen — calmly, creatively, and with real heart, the owners of the Lakehouse are Lisa and Steve Pullen. Lakehouse Kent CIC is managed and run by Event Manager/ Director Sam Griffin.

We first discovered Lakehouse Wellbeing CIC at a Kent Chamber of Commerce event back in 2024. We remember walking in and instantly thinking: this is different. The energy was warm and welcoming, the setting was inspiring, and the mission behind the space was impossible not to admire. We loved it so much then — and we’re delighted that it’s now become our home.

So what does this mean for you?

It means we have a fantastic base to work from, meet, plan, and create — a space that supports focus and wellbeing, not just productivity, as well as still offering all our online digital services. It also means we can offer an even richer experience around our women’s wellbeing events, business training, workshops, and client support, with a venue that feels grounded, uplifting, and professional.

Just as importantly, being based at Lakehouse CIC allows us to support the wonderful work the CIC does in the local community. We’re proud that our presence here contributes to something bigger — a shared commitment to wellbeing, connection, and sustainable growth.

Why Lakehouse CIC is the perfect fit for The Wellness Chain?

One of the reasons this move feels so aligned is because Lakehouse CIC isn’t just a venue — it’s a living, breathing wellbeing community. The events and groups hosted here reflect the same values we build into everything we do at The Wellness Chain: supportive connection, gentle growth, and practical tools that help women feel more resourced in real life.

If you’ve been to Lakehouse before, you’ll know there’s always something meaningful happening. From Thrive sessions to the Women’s Menopause Group, there’s a strong sense of “you don’t have to do this alone.” There’s also a weekly Women’s Mental Health Group offering space to be heard and supported, and the Women’s Mindfulness Colouring Group every Thursday — a simple, soothing way to slow down, reset your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself.

For our community, this matters. The Wellness Chain is here to support women in business — especially women entrepreneurs, solo founders, and small business owners — to build confidence and clarity without sacrificing their wellbeing. Our work blends business support with wellness: self-paced learning, digital resources, toolkits, and values-led guidance that fits around real life.

Being based somewhere that already prioritises women’s health, mental wellbeing, and mindful connection makes our workshops, training, and community support feel even more grounded.

Then there’s the magic of the place itself.

Lakehouse CIC is home to The Wellnest coffee shop — the kind of cosy, welcoming spot where great conversations happen naturally (and where you can treat yourself to a proper coffee and delicious cake while you plan your next steps). Outside, there’s a beautiful lake that instantly softens the pace of the day — perfect for a reflective walk before or after a session.

You’ll also find a fabulous gift shop for thoughtful finds, and The Crystal Saloon — a gorgeous little shop full of crystals and soulful treasures that feels like a mini reset in itself.

All of this creates an experience that’s bigger than a meeting room or workspace. It’s a place where you can come to learn, connect, create, and breathe — and that’s exactly the kind of energy we want around our clients and our community.
